   This text really is that good. Sweeton offers the clinician a veritable cornucopia of evidence-based interventions for the treatment of trauma and writes with a clarity that few have mastered. Every trauma therapist should have this one in their collection. I have also participated in one of her trauma treatment trainings and it too was excellent.

   I really like this book. I have read other books that explain trauma that were helpful but this workbook explains trauma in a way that’s easier to understand. The book gives a flow to treatment and where to begin vs just giving a bunch of suggestions. Also the worksheets are concrete tools you can do in sessions with accompany psychoeducation that clients can understand. It doesn’t go over your head & that’s so important. Happy I made this purchase.
