I cannot believe how much I learned from this manual - I was a purely Word user - and I was missing out on SO MUCH! You will be amazed at what these programs can do. And as these books are at beginner level, they are written in a way that anyone can understand, and learn all the ins and outs of what these programs can do. I am even able to use Excel now!    "Wow, where do I even start? This book is like the Swiss Army knife of Microsoft Office guides—except it has more tools! If you've ever stared blankly at Excel wondering if it was plotting against you, or opened SharePoint only to immediately close it out of fear, THIS is the book for you.
   
   With 10 books in 1 (plus SIX bonus ones!), it’s like they knew I needed extra help. By chapter 5, I had achieved a near-Zen-like understanding of Excel pivot tables. By chapter 8, I was giving PowerPoint presentations so snazzy that my coworkers suspected I’d hired a personal designer.
   
   But the real kicker? My new-found proficiency in Outlook. Now I’m actually excited to manage my inbox. My productivity has gone through the roof. I can’t wait to dive into Publisher and Visio next—I hear they’re the “dark horses” of the Office Suite.

I read this book for the first time this past spring and was so thrilled with the high-quality information presented in such an accessible way that I had my school district purchase a copy for all of our special education staff (teachers, paras, SLPs, and even some parents) so that we may all read it and collaborate about implementation together. It's such an empowering book because it is real, relatable, and gives people (even those with little to no background knowledge of ABA) some solid steps to take in working with children with autism.

   This is a wonderful, detailed, and easy to navigate and implement overview of verbal behavior for parents, caregivers, teachers, SLPs, and new ABA practitioners seeking an introduction to ABA VB. I am a parent of a child with autism and a BCBA and appreciated the synthesis of behavioral science with practical application and every day terminology and concepts that would empower and appeal to someone not well versed in ABA, but seeking an evidence based approach to help their child. It is also compelling as the author shares personal anecdotes of her own journey using ABA VB with her son. I recommend this book highly.

   I had to re-order this book because I loaned it out so many times I lost track of it - but that's okay because when parents read this book it makes my job a lot easier! I am an SLP working in a school for kids with autism and related developmental disabilities and we utilize the ABA/VB approach. I really like how this book is written by someone who can relate to both backgrounds, being a BCBA and a parent of a child with autism. The Potty Training chapter is great! When we have a new parent who is wondering what Verbal Behavior is all about, this is among the first resources I point them to. Thanks for writing this tremendously helpful book!
