    I read Re-Regulated with a TON of hesitation and a bit of fear. I was afraid that Ann Rundle was going to push me to re-live and remember. Instead, when I finally started reading, I could not put it down until I had completed all of the journal prompts and begun the Daily Practice. I’m not one to be easily led into practices because I thought I’d tried them all, decades of talk therapy, various meds, etc… none really enabling the change that I sought. This practice is different. It works for me. Today on my run I felt free and in touch with my best self. It’s not just the Daily Practice, it’s Anne Runkle’s voice and suggestions and perspectives that are beginning to significantly move me out of disregulation and disconnect and into being ALIVE. Truly grateful.
    Edited to Update one Month after using the Daily Practice every day: In some respects it’s such a simple thing, but after decades of therapy and meds and ….. finally this book offers something that is really changing my life. Even after a badly dysreglated event yesterday I was able to re-regulate using the daily practice. THANK YOU

    I’ve never related more to a book in my entire life. I have been in and out of therapy since 13 so I’ve heard a ton of the same thing from self help books. This was the first time I felt seen and heard. I also loved that there are exercises with the chapters so you don’t just hear what’s going on with you but ways to fix it as well. This books a blessing and I have it on audible and kindle for those reasons.

    This book, and Anna before the book was published, has been the key that unlocked my healing, after 57 years of looking for it. CPTSD is in fact real (I believe there are plans to include in the DSM) and traditional methods simply don't get to it. Through her own experience, informed by the work of scholars such as Pete Walker, Anna actually discovered this methodology in service of her own healing from childhood trauma. Because it was so powerful for her she set out to share it with others, and I'm so grateful that she did.

    If it isn't obvious yet I highly recommend this book. But I also strongly suggest that you try her methodology as is, without skimming the book or tweaking the methodology, if you really want to explore what it might do for you.

    I watch Anna’s YouTube channel occasionally. My fiancée really enjoys her work, so I told her about this book after I had received Ann’a newsletter featuring her new book. We currently share the book.

    I have gotten to the part where Anna shares her technique for conquering anxiety and resentment. As I practice the techniques, I feel like my spirit is slowly being lifted, old thoughts of what I used to think or be like are coming back to me. I’m feeling more love towards my partner, I feel myself wanting to work with my hands again, and my heart feels lighter.

    I’m not done with the book and i haven’t done the technique for a long time but i can feel things changing in my mind.

    This new book by Anna Runkle has, quite literally, changed my life. I have been doing The Daily Practice for a little while now and, with the help of this book, I have started feeling stronger already and better able to deal with the anxiety and fears that were so crippling. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough, both for survivors and professionals who want to better understand Ms. Runkle's groundbreaking work. Please read this book.

    Anna is such a beautiful gift to this world. I wish I had found her sooner. She gets through when no one else has been able to, and it's because she's been there, down in the trenches, so she TRULY knows what she's talking about. She gets it!!! And she gets how to recover! And thankfully she is sharing her hard earned knowledge with the rest of us. I cannot recommend this book and Anna's other material (Crappy Childhood Fairy) enough! I can barely string words together but I now have hope that there is a way out of this darkness, thanks to Anna and her Daily Practice.
