For the sake of transparency I should probably start this review by stating that I was given this book by the editor. I don't feel, though, that it has influenced my view of the anthology - and it is definitely a positive one. Having read a large number of books on the topic of IFS it can start to feel somewhat repetitive, but this book stands out, both in the fresh insight it gives into the process of working with supervision, in the way it covers a broad series of themes and in the clarity of the writing. The chapters, each written by a different expert, have a high quality, are full of insight, and often activated my own therapist parts and made me reflect on my own work with clients and with myself. Most of the writers are extremely skilled in unblending from parts which makes the reading of the book an almost therapeutic process. Even chapters that I had expected not to interest me so much, like IFS therapy in the realm of religion and with war veterans, turned out to be very poignant and interesting, due to the writers level of expertise. I felt this book to be a transforming experience
